Please complete and submit the information below to apply for the Special Events Grant Program for event funds. The next deadline for Special Events applications is 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, November 30, 2012.

Because several questions allow for lengthy written responses, we recommend that you prepare responses to these questions in advance.

Generally, grants range between $5,000-$15,000. Proposals beyond that range that represent exceptional opportunities in terms of ideas, innovation, collaboration, interdisciplinary exchange, and public engagement may be considered. Awards will rarely be granted for traditional academic symposia or conferences that are not also innovative and include a significant public outreach or engagement component. We recommend, but do not require, that applicants coordinate their proposal with their department chairs.
